One week to go until the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition 2026 begins in The Hague!
The Organising Office is putting the final touches in place to ensure a smooth and memorable week of pleadings at Leiden University. However, we are not the only ones preparing. If you are a participating team or judge, here is a quick checklist to review before packing your bags:
🔷 Passport and travel documents: Bring your passport and visa (if required), and keep printed and/or digital copies as backup.
🔷 Competition materials and notes: Have printed copies ready for the oral rounds. Remember: electronic devices may not be used by teams during oral pleadings.
🔷 Formal attire: Pack smart outfits for the hearings and comfortable clothing to explore The Hague.
🔷 Chargers and adaptors: The Netherlands uses Type C and F plugs. Make sure you have the right adaptors for your devices.
🔷 Weather-appropriate clothing: Dutch weather is often unpredictable, even during the summer. A light rain jacket and a small umbrella are recommended, just in case.
We look forward to welcoming you all to The Hague very soon. Safe travels!
